Moving is hard and there are a lot of pitfalls to it, whether you're moving across town, across country, or across the globe. Right now we're the newbies on the block with no community. We may have a home but we have yet to find our place.
Right now we don't have a church.....but one day we will.
Right now we don't have friends...but one day we will.
Right now we don't have any doctors chosen...but one day we will.
Right now we don't know which grocery store has the best deals...but one day we will.
Right now we don't know the school our kids will go to...but one day we will.
Right now this isn't home...but one day it will be.
I know because I've moved before. I know because I was in this place and I reached the one day. If we reached it once, we'll reach it again.
So to all of you who are ready to end your summer with a long or short move: it is gong to be hard, you will cry, you will miss your old life, but one day it will be home and it will feel right. Hang in there, one day will be here soon.
And to any of you that find yourself in transition...that in between where you live between the where you are and where you want to be. Keep holding on, keep pressing through, keep taking those leaps and chances, your day will also be here soon.
